ShikaTema Stuff
Ok since Kishimoto doesn't give us enough ShikaTema in the manga, the people who are in charge of the ads/merchandise/fillers for Naruto were awesome enough to provide us with major ShikaTema related things. I'll just be listing everything and anything I find that's remotely ShikaTema. :3 (click on a picture and drag it to the address bar if you want to see a bigger version of the picture)

Anime
First something brought up by the wonderful Kyasarin of Naruto Forums:

...Shikas mother (the wonderful firebreathing Yoshino) - how come she makes a quick small appearance in the manga, yet we hear but never see Sakura, Ino or hardly anyones elses mothers?

Because they are irrelevant D: but Yoshino isn't - because fans wouldn't pick up on the similarities between her and Temari unless she'd made an appearance.

The pages where Shikaku talks about how awesome women are, and Shikamaru asking why his father married his mother - all completely irrelevant to the mangas plot - but is it filler? no *___* because once you hit the pages where Temari saves Shikamaru and then the hospital scene, their dialogue/expressions reflect the previous pages I've pointed out <3

Yoshino is the evidence of ShikaTema?

Episode 142: (Pre-TS) I know this is a small add-in by the writers, but I thought it was cute how they had Temari chuckle after Shikamaru said "That's why women are..." I realize they didn't have to add that part in, but they did anyway. :D I don't remember who, but someone mentioned how Shikamaru's earing sparkled when he said that line and Temari's eyes sparkled when she chuckled.
Episodes 216-220: The Payback Suna Arc

Episode 216: When Sakura mentions that the Sand Sibs are now Instructors at this school in Suna that's just like the one in Konoha, Shikamaru is immediately shocked and says "Can that hardass lady really be a teacher?" This was just a little something I found really interesting. xD He kinda just immediately blurted that out.

Episode 217: In the beginning of the episode, Shikamaru thinks of the events that happend in episode 142, where he sees the Sand Sibs go back to Suna and has a smirk on his face after he finishes recapping from that small, slightly flirtatious, conversation he had with Temari before she left. In a way, Shikamaru looked like he was kinda enjoying those memories.

Shikamaru later saves Temari from this wind lady by taking control of Temari's body with his Shadow Imitation Jutsu.

Episode 218: The episode begins with Temari and Shikamaru having a slightly friendly chat. Shikamaru mentions how men shouldn't let women save them and leave it at that and Temari responds by saying he's still as obnoxious about guys and girls as ever. They continue to talk and Temari teases Shikamaru a little by saying "Let's see if you can [complete the mission] without crying this time." He brushes that off and they continue to bickey and make Ino feel like she doesn't belong there. During the entire battle with the wind lady, they exchange/discuss ideas and information about their enemy and how they'll take her down. They eventually create a plan and after they got rid of the wind lady, Temari cheerfully says "We're up one." and laughs while Shikamaru turns to her, relieved that they finally got defeated the wind lady.

Episode 219: Nothing much in this episode, the whole team of ninjas run through the forest to try and find Gaara. While they are all running, Temari informs Shikamaru about Gaara and Shukaku.

Episode 220: There's not a lot in this episode involving ShikaTema besides the fact that every single shot they're in contains them standing right next to each other. (I'm not exaggerating XD) There was one scene where Gaara starts fighting again and Naruto wants to help, except both Shikamaru and Temari stop him from doing so. After they all get back to Konoha, Shikamaru stands in front of the gate to see the Sand Siblings go back to Suna. And of course, Temari teases Shikamaru about how well he did on this mission, which was "so-so" in her opinion, and he gets a little irked and says "There you go again! This is why I hate women." They say their goodbyes and go off.

Shippuden episode 1: We all expected the random pop-up of Temari and Shikamaru in the midst of a crowd but the writers decided to have them walk into the conversation that Naruto was having with Tsunade. We also got the little scene where Naruto asks Shikamaru and Temari if they're on a date but they both deny it. (Kinda like that time where Kakashi saw Asuma and Kurenai walking with each other and said they looked good together)

Shippuden episode 7: (I guess even the writers saw the awesomeness of ShikaTema and gave us something a little extra before Temari leaves Konoha) Near the end of the episode, Temari starts leaving her hotel room only to find that Shikamaru waiting for her. He asks why she's up so early and even yawns to show he woke up pretty early. (Knowing Shikamaru, waking up early is not an easy thing to do.) Temari seems to be a bit suprised that he's there and they start walking together to the Konoha Gate. Temari claims she can't stay away from Suna too long and that she should probably be getting back. Shikamaru mentions that it's strange that she's leaving without eating breakfast. Temari justifies her actions by claiming that she'll find a tea house and eat there on the way and asks Shikamaru why he's up so early. He claims that even if it's a pain in the ass, he still has to do his job as a guide because it's his mission. Temari gives a light chuckle and tells him he did a great job. And I think she meant that too. xD; First compliment in a while. They get to the gate and Shikamaru asks Temari to confirm that the next time they meet each other will be at the Chuunin Exams. She confirms it and goes off on her way but she stops to tell Shikamaru that he should hurry up and become a Jounin by taking his missions seriously. (Honestly, when he woke up that early just to see her, I'm pretty sure he was taking his mission seriously) He's suprised at that and scratches the back of his head, Temari smiles and she continues to walk on to Suna. A little bit after she leaves, Shikamaru says his famous "What a pain" line. It was a nice extra scene, it's exactly what we needed as their last scene together for a while. T_T

Shippuden episode 56 Omake: This isn't exactly directly ShikaTema related but it can be connected to it. Konohamaru is talking about Asuma and Naruto pops in and mentions that Konohamaru forgot to talk about the little rumor about Asuma. They both tease him about how much he's seen hanging out with Kurenai. That can be applied directly to ShikaTema since they've been seen together a lot on screen and since they're jobs require that they meet with each other, they probably seen each other a lot off screen and during the 2 years that Naruto was gone. Small note, the way Naruto teased Asuma about Kurenai was about the same way he asked Shikamaru if he and Temari were on a date. ;D

Shippuden episode 72 Omake: THIS CAME AT A COMPLETELY RANDOM EPISODE. Shikamaru's a little OCC here. xD BUT, at 0:27 when you see the silhouttes, you can tell that Temari's on the left side hanging upside down. <3 They really really do love ShikaTema don't they? ;_;

Naruto Movie 4: Shikamaru was seen at the beginning of the movie and all of a sudden in the last few minutes of the movie, he and Temari look like they're doing a sort of tag team battle against the statues. After the credits, Temari is seen sitting on a rock and Shikamaru is right next to her. I think the movie occurs pre-Sai but possibly after the Gaara arc. Though, it anyone can say that Temari and Shikamaru show up because it's just something the writers wanted to throw in since almost everyone else was there because Gaara and Kankuro were not there. They could've barred any one of the Sand Sibs from showing up from the movie, yet they chose Temari to be there AND helping him fight off the statues.

Naruto Card Game

These are just some cards I found that had both Shikamaru and Temari. Boy the writers sure like to focus on their moments such as their Chuunin Exam battle and the time Temari saved Shikamaru's ass from Tayuya. My favorite one has to be the one where Temari is winking at Shikamaru. If anyone wants to submit a translation to any of these, just contact me!

Naruto Merchandise

This is a scan from a mousepad. I love how Shikamaru and Temari are the only ones standing in the corner with the same expression on their faces. ♥

Hehehe, even as figures ShikaTema is still pwnage. These were one of the first figurines released at the start of Shippuden. These were released along with Kakashi, Sasuke, Deidara, Naruto, and Kankuro.

Naruto Games and Ads

I think this was a guide for one of the Naruto DS games. I'm not sure which one but it had ShikaTema in it so I had to put it here.

This was just an small ad for the card game. Interesting position Temari is in, it's almost if she's leaning on Shikamaru for support. ;D

Naruto Shippuden: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 5:

This was a scan given to me by Kyasarin, thanks! :D There's a little bit of ShikaTema in the screencap that has 074 on it. I haven't gotten that far in the game so I can't tell what's going on.

Naruto Chronicles 2:

This is where Shikamaru stays in Suna to get some sexin from Temari Kidding aside, Shikamaru and Temari's convo doesn't start till 6:00 minutes into the video. Near the very end, Shikamaru stays in Suna and persuades Temari to let him see the data Kankuro is researching.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja:

Just a little mission with ShikaTema that SilverHairedGirl uploaded. Temari wants a rematch with Shikamaru to make up for the Chuunin Exams but she can't convince him to fight her. So she asks Naruto for help and Naruto ends up convincing him but only if Temari plays Shogi with him after the battle. They battle and Temari wins, and then they disappear and go play Shogi.

Narutimate Accel 1:
Where nearly every promo ad had Shikamaru right next to Temari. It's almost as if they're promoting ShikaTema instead of the games.

If you click on the image on the right you'll be able to read a translation of the ad. It talks about Temari and Shikamaru's attacks in the game and even takes notice on how strong they both are.

Yet another ad that features ShikaTema. There's a variation of the image above, this time Shikamaru is on the left. (there's still lots of ads with ShikaTema that I haven't shown yet, so bear with me :p)

Not much in this one but the featured photo on the right with ShikaTema has them in a "rock paper scissors" match in the game, and in the ad, Shikamaru wins. Interestingly enough it looks like their match takes place in the same arena that they fought during the Chuunin Exams. Coincidence? Not a chance. :p

Just some promo artwork featured on the official website for Narutimate Accel. You can see in the little screenshots in both pictures that Shikamaru is in a match against Temari and vice versa. The promo artwork is similar to the ones released for Tenten and Neji. ♥

Just some posters that were released at the time of the game. Once again, there are hints of ShikaTema. Just take a look at the screencaps in Temari's poster and you'll see a ShikaTema match going on.

Now onto the scenes from the game!

When you're on a certain Jutsu mission, you'll meet Temari in front of the Suna gate. She'll ask you to get her something and then she sends you to Konoha where you talk to Shikamaru and answer some of his questions. After that, you'll be able to unlock Shikamaru's Trap (which is one of his Jutsu's). I thought it was kind of odd to have Temari involved in a mission that unlocks another character's secret jutsu, specifically Shikamaru's jutsu. All the other jutsu missions (excluding the Itachi one) only involves interacting with one character to unlock that character's secret jutsu.

When you begin the Bingo Book thing, you may run into Shikamaru and that guy who impersonates people will either be TS Temari or Pre-Time Skip Temari or if you run into Temari you'll see that the impersonator will be either TS Shikamaru or Pre-Time Skip Shikamaru.

There's one more noticeable ShikaTema thing in Accel. When you look through the memory fragment scenes, you'll be able to watch the moment when Temari teases Shikamaru in the hospital. This scene is interestingly changed from the anime and the manga because Shikaku is the one who originally lectures Shikamaru and not Temari. I have no idea why they changed it but it's a hinty change since there's no reason to change any scenes from it's original anime/manga scene. ;) Seriously, I am 100000000000000% the team that is in charge of creating the games favors Shikamaru and Temari. ;D

Narutimate Accel 2:

Yet another ad with ShikaTema. :3 This time this ad has EVERY character in the game in a bunch down in the left corner. I love how Shikamaru and Temari are right next to each other, both Pre-Time Skip and Time Skip. ;D See if you can find them. The amount of times they're right next to each other in ads can't be a coincidence, someone has to be doing this on purpose because they know ShikaTema is pwnage. >D

These are the promo pictures taken from the official Accel 2 site. If you look at Temari's picture, you'll notice the screencaps behind her feature her in a battle with Shikamaru. ♥

As for the game, there are numerous times where you see Shikamaru and Temari randomly. Like:

Quest #06 United Front - When you arrive at the Sand Cloud Desert you'll meet up with Temari and Shikamaru.

Mission #13 Battle of Heaven and Earth Bridge - After you beat the bandits and finish the mission you'll see Shikamaru and Temari.

I can only imagine why they're randomly placed together after missions. ;D There's really no reason for the team to do this but they did it anyway. ♥

Last but not least, some extra stuff in Accel 2 like the buddy system and a scene that was not in the anime or manga. Thanks to Vanilla at NF for uploading the video! :D Here's some info on what's going on in the video:

• It starts off with the scene from the story mode. In the actual anime, there was no Shikamaru or Temari in this spot. An interesting fix they made.
• Next is the Buddy System. First it’s what Temari does set as Shikamaru’s support character. She only does this with him. And to prove this, I showed what she does with her brothers and someone she has no specific relation with. Then I did Shikamaru set as Temari’s support character. He does this with everyone except for Chouji, so it’s nothing special. However I thought it’d be fun to throw it in there anyway. (NOTE: I picked the opponents by pressing the random button, so no it wasn’t up to me to have Shika + Tema vs. Ino.)
• Then I did that character thing, showing the figures of Shikamaru and Temari as well as playing their voice tracks. If anyone’s interested in that xD
• And the end… I wanted to have a little fun with it! I was just playing around with that one!!

Just a little info on the Buddy System; it only works with people who have a close relationship with each other. And a little trivia, when Temari was Shikamaru's support character, she says "Donna Monda?" or "What do you think?" which was also said after she saved Shikamaru from Tayuya.
